FOR REFRACTORIES
Flexibility, high strength and erosion resistant characteristics of Hexmesh™ make it an excellent choice of refracory linings in furnaces, reactors, cyclones, ducts and flues.

FOR FLOORS
Hexmesh™ provides long term protection for armor applications in industrial floors. Specifically: Loading docks, ramps, high trafiic aisles for forklifts and trucks, hot floors for foundry, forge and steel mills, refuse disposal plant floors and almost anywhere floors are subject to severe impact and rolling loads will benefit with Hexmesh™.

Standard Lance: Illustration No. 1
Lances are formed in the centre of the bars and are projected to face opposite lance in each individual hexagonal cell.

Special Lance: Illustration No. 2
Lances are formed in the centre of the bar and are projected to the centre of each hexagonal cell.

Offset Lance: Illustration No. 2
Standard and Special lances are formed Offset in the 1” thick panels.

Perforated: Illustration No. 3
(No Lance) Wide rectangular openings in each hexagon side.

Non-Perforated: Illustration No. 4
(No Lances or Perforations)

Shell Type: Illustration No. 5
Every 6th bar is 1” (25 mm) deep and the intermediate bars are 3/4” (19 mm) deep. Shell type is also available with every 4th, 3rd or 2nd bar 1” (25 mm) deep.

Tight Clinched Construction
Tight Clinch is furnished unless otherwise specified. In this type of fastening Hexmesh™ formed bars are mechanically locked together with lugs which protrude through slots on the adjacent formed bars and are clinched. Tight clinched is used for smaller diameter applications and is formed along the length of the bars to diameters as small as 12” using power rolls.

Loose Clinch is used when the Hexmesh™ panel is formed manually across the width of the bars to a maximum inside diameter of 42 inches.

Riveted Construction: Illustration No. 6
Hexmesh™ manufactured formed bars are riveted together providing more positive interlocking for small diameters and for severe shock and vibration applications.

Alloys Available:
410S, 304H, 309, 310, RA330, RA600, RA601. Other alloys available upon request. Carbon steel for floor armour.
